I’ve been sewing pretty much my entire life creating a managery of things, such as a fake furry “monster” chair with a face. I stuffed it with packing peanuts. A hand-painted alligator bag. A bean bag puppet from a child’s drawing and a line of silk and leather clothing I sold to a store in Stamford CT. I developed Clothing For Furniture, a slipcover business for an interior design company in NM (where I also worked full time in the Albuquerque hot air balloon factory constructing Sandia Laboratory Cordura fabric multi layered military vests from blue print drawings). Since then I've been sewing for myself and many clients. I now call my sewing business, White Raven Artisan Seamistry, specializing in Home Decor.
